We're sponsoring Bangor Cricket Club! Here's a couple of photos showing our sponsorship board up on the grounds.

Mae ein Rheolwr Safle Rhun Williams wedi derbyn Sêl Rhagoriaeth NHBC a Gwobr Ranbarthol Adeiladwyr  Cymru yng Ngwobrau Balchder yn y Swydd NHBC Cymru. Mae'r gwobrau hyn yn dangos arweinyddiaeth ac ymrwymiad eithriadol i ddatblygu cartrefi o'r ansawdd uchaf. Llongyfarchiadau mawr i Rhun, a holl Dîm JK, cyflenwyr ac isgontractwyr a oedd yn rhan o Ddatblygiad Bro Eglwys, Bethel, Gwynedd. 

Llongyfarchiadau i Lisa – Rheolwr Strategaeth yn John Kelly Construction a raddiodd gyda doethuriaeth ym Mhrifysgol Aberystwyth. Teitl ei thraethawd ymchwil oedd ‘Canfyddiadau o Lwyddiant Gyrfa yn y Diwydiant Adeiladu yng Nghymru’.

Roedd yn bleser gan Lisa i gynnal gweithdai yn nigwyddiad ‘Menywod mewn Adeiladu’ CITB Cymru ochr yn ochr â chwmnïau eraill o Ogledd Cymru i ysbrydoli disgyblion benywaidd ifanc o ysgolion uwchradd lleol i ystyried gyrfa mewn adeiladu.

Yn gweithgaredd John Kelly Construction cafodd 60 o ddysgwyr o Ysgol Uwchradd Bodedern, Ysgol Syr Hugh Owen ac Ysgol Dyffryn Nantlle gyfle i ddefnyddio peiriannau rheoli o bell i efelychu tasgau adeiladu, gan ddysgu am waith tîm, cydlynu, a rôl peiriannau mewn adeiladu modern.

As part of our work at Parc y Coleg, Bangor University we arranged for the removal and restoration of this antique heritage gate. 

The gate was refurbished and powder coated before being fitted in its new location at Treborth Botanical Gardens where it can be admired for years to come.

John Kelly Construction recently completed the re-development of Parc y Coleg at Bangor University.

The key improvements to the park infrastructure include:
- a new accessible pathway across the park linking with Pontio.
- a new safer entrance off Deiniol Road linking to the city centre. 
- relocating the original historic gate to a protected setting in Treborth Gardens.
- creation of usable lawn areas to encourage new activities.
- provision of new lighting to improve safety after dusk.
- Management and selective thinning of existing vegetation to open the views and improve safety along the footpaths.

As always we are thankful to our excellent JK Team for their professionalism throughout the job and to our local suppliers and sub-contractors for their skilled work on this project. 

We’re looking forward to seeing the whole community enjoying this space.

We always aim to make a positive difference in the communities where we work. We have re-surfaced the entrance to Bangor Cricket Club while working on the Parc y Coleg Bangor University project.

We hope that players and visitors will benefit from these improvements for many years to come.

📢 Contract Newydd 📢

Mae John Kelly Construction yn falch o gyhoeddi ein bod wedi ennill contract dylunio ac adeiladu gwerth £3.1 miliwn gan y darparwr tai cymdeithasol Adra.

Dechreuodd y gwaith ym mis Mai ar ddatblygu 12 tŷ ym Mhenygroes, Caernarfon.

Mae'r datblygiad hwn yn cynnwys cymysgedd o dai lled-ddatgysylltiedig, teras a thai ar wahân ar safle hen garej. Mae'r prosiect hwn i fod i gael ei gwblhau ym mis Mai 2026.

Lisa and John were invited down to Gunn JCB Ltd in Uttoxeter for two days to explore the factories, test the machinery and check out the quarry.

They had a wonderful time learning about the history and work environment at JCB.

We've just completed an excellent three-day Level 3 First Aid at Work course with Môn Training! From CPR and defibrillation to managing injuries, medical conditions, and emergency scenarios, our learners have gained essential life-saving skills that could make a real difference when it matters most.
