Bro Infryn, Glasinfryn

John Kelly Construction Services Limited (JKCS) were appointed to carry out the groundworks and super structure, including the construction of additional off-site car parking area for existing residents. This estate of new build social housing were located in Glasinfryn, and consisted of six two storey and one bungalow.

This project was situated within a populated residential area, therefore it was essential for us to carry out the work with minimal disruption to the local residents, we did this through planning deliveries and work on-site carefully to minimise the disruption.

The scope of works included the following:

• Construction of car parking at the centre of the existing estate, including drainage and SuDs features.
• Excavation to reduced levels, including disposal from site.
• Diversion of existing Welsh water sewer and BT overhead lines.
• Insulated formed concrete raft foundations, including design.
• Supply and fit timber frames, first floors and roof structure, including design and the co-ordination of all crane lifting operations.
• Foul and surface water drainage, including SuDS features and porous surfacing.
• Utilities, including electric, water and BT.
• Design and build tobermore retaining walls.
• Fencing and gates.
• Paving, kerbing and surfacing.
• Topsoiling and landscaping
