Park Aberkinsey, Rhyl Phase 5

John Kelly Construction Services Limited (JKCS) were awarded the groundworks and infrastructure package for 109 houses for our long term client Anwyl Homes on Phase 5 of their Park Aberkinsey, Rhyl development.

The project is expected to be completed in two years. Some of the challenges we faced on this site were, sections of the site were underwater for six weeks due to starting in January, we had to carry out a large amount of work in short period of time to complete the road and sewers which had over 600m of 750 concrete pipe over 3m deep to install, and also off-site drainage completed 7 weeks ahead of programme, allowing our clients to commence building earlier than planned.

John Kelly Construction over an 8 month period have installed all roads and sewers, all mains services and 70 plots up to slab and completed 4 plots.
